Muesli & Yoghurt

February 9, 2012 in Greenery Design, Interior Design

By far one of the guiltiest of all guilty pleasures at Design Scale is having the presence of fresh flowers or plants within the vicinity. Though our eyes and noses appreciate it -our weekly budgets don’t always, even so we are tempted to brave the early morning hours of the flower markets to sooth and over indulge in our dose of freshly cut flowers.

It is this guilty pleasure which constantly draws our attention to young and aspiring talent such as Muesli and Yoghurt, a fresh Melbourne design company specialising in innovative floral arrangements for individuals, events and special occasions.

Led by fashionista and trend setter Katie Evans, Muesli and Yoghurt is a professional and down to earth establishment that are sure to brighten up any occasion, day or room – but enough of the rambling, we will let the pictures do the talking……………….

To get in touch with Muesli and Yoghurt please visit their website www.muesliandyoghurt.com.au or facebook page. Be quick to get your orders in for a certain day of “love” next week ladies and gents……

Jomo

Please welcome aboard to this blog a brand spanking new fantastic design firm – Jomo, whom only launched their brand recently in July this year at the Decoration and Design Expo in Melbourne.

They do have quite a decent portfolio up their sleeve however, and we are definitely liking their style. Using a network of Melbourne based metal work specialist and artisans, they are able to deliver modern and high quality end results.

The “Winged Dish” is a minimal and elegant bird bath/water feature. Its curbed shape captures a circle of water at a comfortable depth for our feathered friends to drink from and bath in. Besides its functional feature however, really…..it just looks good!!

The dish is fabricated from 3mm stainless steel and has a diameter of approximately 1.6 metres.

We encourage you to view more of the Jomo range, on their website; www.jomosteel.com

For those who are a little too busy to find time to develop a green thumb, Melbourne based custom terrarium designer Clea Cregan has found you a solution.
